Approximately 70% of the total building energy consumption in the middle east is consumed by heating, cooling and general air conditioning!. With this in mind several associations, governmental departments and the trade journal Control Climate have come together to find and implement new and modern equipment to reduce the massive energy consumption of this geographical boom area.
In April 2008 the first Climate Control Conference was organised to discuss and combat this characteristic of the middle east.
Parallel to the different seminars which took place were many stands with new products from local and international manufacturers, work-shops for linking engineering thoughts and practices and recruitment for engineering staff.
Within the 3 day seminar Robert Green, Regional Export Manager commented among other topics, upon the failing presence and acceptance of bringing energy recovery components into the foreground of saving building energy.
