A very high level of air tightness is obtained by the double folding process of the face side edges which is equal to 5 x material thickness.
Exchangers that are made of stainless steel are constructed with a corrugated inlay upon a flat layer which in turn increases the  operational pressure stability. With this construction we can further reduce the pressure losses without influencing the effieciency.
With this corrugated construction it is possible to apply this range where very high pressure differences exist.
