Standard are four gasket types:
Elastic felt gasket
>150°C (300°F)
Flat gasket >300°C (570°F)
Silicate fibre gasket
>650°C (1200°F)
By temperatures of up to 450°C
(840°F) a friction gasket can be
fitted composed of graphite fibre
ribbon.
In case of leakage between exhaust and supply air due to unwanted pressure ratios , an air tight chamber gasket could be advantageous.
