Foil: Thickness: 0,08 - 0,12 mm (80-120 microns) Segments: 8 -12 pcs Advantages: Full use of the entire flow surface, no “dead” zones. No corrosion risk. Solid form and strength guarantee through bolted connections of all segment plus an outer tensioning ring.		Foil: Thickness: 0,12 mm (120 microns) Segments: 8 - 12 pcs Disadvantages: Flow surface loss of >10 % through installation of con-rods. Increased risk of corrosion through „dead zones“ in the vacinity of the con-rods The rigidity of all segments is only realised by the use of the outer tensioning ring.
